How to earn Qantas Points with Apollo

Qantas Frequent Flyer members can earn 2 Qantas Points per $1AUD/NZD on eligible spend with Apollo. This earning rate applies to eligible rentals from Apollo Australia and New Zealand locations and covers Apollo branded campervans, motorhomes and 4WD campers.

Eligible spend is based on the daily rental rate after discounts have been deducted. In other words, points are calculated on the daily vehicle hire charge, not on every cost included in your booking.

Bookings made directly with Apollo can earn points, and bookings made through travel agents can also be eligible if the partnership conditions are met.

To receive points, you must be a Qantas Frequent Flyer member. The Frequent Flyer number used for the booking must match the Apollo main driver, and the surname on the booking must match the surname on the Frequent Flyer account.


How many Qantas Points could you earn?

A simple way to estimate your points is to use an example. If your eligible daily rental rate is AU$250 per day, and that full amount qualifies as eligible spend, you could earn 500 Qantas Points per day at 2 Qantas Points per AU$1.

The basic calculation is: eligible rental days × eligible daily rental rate × 2 Qantas Points per $1 AUD/NZD.

Example points by trip length

For a 5-day trip, AU$1,250 in eligible spend would earn 2,500 Qantas Points. Over 7 days, AU$1,750 in eligible spend could earn up to 3,500 Qantas Points.*

*These figures are examples only. Real rental prices vary depending on the vehicle, travel dates, season, location, booking duration and discounts available at the time. It is important to note that points are earned on eligible spend, not every dollar paid. In practice, that means some items, add-ons, taxes, or fees may not qualify for points.


Using Points Plus Pay for Apollo bookings in Australia

If you are booking an eligible Apollo rental in Australia, Points Plus Pay gives Qantas Frequent Flyer members another option. You can use Qantas Points towards an eligible Apollo booking through Points Plus Pay.

This option is available on eligible Apollo branded campervans, motorhomes and 4WD campers in Australia. It can be a helpful way to reduce the upfront cost of your next campervan road trip or motorhome road trip.

Before booking, check that your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership is active and that the name on your membership matches the main driver on the Apollo booking. Since one Frequent Flyer number is used per booking, it is best to decide in advance whose account will receive the points.

Yes, you can add your Qantas Frequent Flyer number any time between booking and completing your road trip by contacting the Apollo reservations team or visiting a branch.

No, only one Qantas Frequent Flyer account per booking is accepted, and it must match the main driver’s surname.

No, the surname on the booking must match the Qantas Frequent Flyer account.

You can still earn points by adding your Qantas Frequent Flyer number through the Apollo reservations team or at a branch.

If you change your booking to a different date, location, or Apollo vehicle type, you will still earn points based on the value of the new booking. Switching to another brand may still qualify for points, subject to the brand’s terms.

If you cancel your entire booking, you will not be eligible to earn points.
